YOU ARE IN THE B-STOCK SECTION... where quality meets affordability. Our B-stock cameras may have a few tales to tell – a scratch here, a scuff there – and a button or function that doesn't respond as when it was new; but rest assured, these cameras are functional and ready to capture your next masterpiece. By offering these cameras at reduced prices, we aim to make vintage filmmaking accessible to all without compromising on quality.

Motor runs smooth! Zoom in/out works, Manual Exposure is accurate and very responsive. Optics are in great shape. Film counter works. Clean film compartment. Solid handle grip. Zero rust anywhere, incredibly clean and well maintained. Shutter smooth and responsive with no lag (if you know Nizo, you know). The dioptric system adjusts as intended.  Lens focusing ring actuates perfectly smooth. Power zoom in both slow and faster actions works and sounds wonderful. Viewfinder is nice and clean. Auto Exposure works well, but it won’t open wider than f/5.6, and the indicator lever does not move past (or below) that point either. This only matters in very low-light situations; otherwise it’s not really an issue.

This set includes:

  • Nizo 801 Black Version Super 8 Camera
  • Main drive battery holder
  • Modern batteries (2) for the light meter.
  • Eye cup for the viewfinder (please keep in mind that all vintage Eye-Cups age badly and the rubber's curvature changes over time)

Great for making a great entrance into the rediscovered world of Super 8 film photography with its amazing vintage look, or for anyone on Film School

G'day mate!
Format: Kindle
I frequently heard this was good, but it's taken me a long time to get around to checking it out for myself. Happy to say the testimonials didn't disappoint. If a book could give you the feeling of a lazy day on a pontoon boat casually casting over the side and drinking some spiked lemonade while the radio plays... This is probably as close as it gets. Humorous premise, entertaining characters, cozy moments.

I loved this book!
Format: Kindle
I have to admit that I am not a fisherman. My memories of fishing with my father mainly consist of him, getting frustrated with me as I threw rocks into the lake near his pole. However, I recognized the intense love of fishing from my dad reflected in the main character of this book. Mr. Jobson has done an incredible job of writing a story that has many twists and turns, is engaging and entertaining, and is a surprising breath of fresh air. Absolutely loved it! Would recommend to anyone looking for a positive literary escape.

Good read…
Format: Kindle
I liked the book. But, I didn’t like the romance aspect of it. Felt somewhat forced. The last 10% or so was a slog to get through. I don’t like feeling like you can’t wait for something to be over. I would have skipped but it was the last chapters of the book and it felt a bit lazy; it wasn’t as if I didn’t want to know what happened… I can’t explain it. I’m not at all sure I’ll continue the series. Do I recommend it? Yeah, I guess I do. It’s not a bad book and I’m sure a lot of people would really like it. I liked it too, just not at the end.
