The top models from the successful QUANTUM QXE loudspeaker series have been extensively revised in the new V2 generation. Many loudspeakers will have to be measured again against the completely redesigned 16.5 cm bass-midrange speaker with a new basket and the newly designed 25 mm silk dome neodymium tweeter.

The QXE6.2WV2 mid-bass driver not only impresses with its newly designed and torsion-resistant steel basket, but above all with its inner qualities. With its 30 mm voice coil, it is very well equipped for high-power operation. This is supported by generous cooling such as the rear pole core hole and the side openings in the speaker basket. The extremely strong 17 ounce magnet enables a really exceptional efficiency of 94 dB at 2.83V/1m!

The QUANTUM QXE6.2TV2 silk dome neodymium tweeter as a V2 version is also a completely new development. A look at the measurement protocol reveals the potential of this extremely good 25 mm neodymium tweeter: This shows a frequency response that looks as if it had been drawn with a ruler! Incredibly linear up to well over 22,000 Hz, this tweeter plays with absolute confidence and playful ease. The grille can be unscrewed together with the housing using a metric thread and significantly reduces the space required (e.g. for the mirror triangle). A housing made of ABS is included in the scope of delivery for surface use. Including 6 dB cable crossover.
