Reyn Spooner celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the United States Armed Forces with this hand painted print highlighting our Servicemembers and their equipment.
Army: This print celebrates helicopters, Rangers, and so much more. Two “handshakes” are also featured in the print: one scene depicts one soldier helping another up a cliff, while another depicts a soldier befriending a young boy while on tour overseas.
Marines: Scenes depicted in the print include the iconic raising of the flag at Iwo Jima, a U.S. Marine leading a convoy of fellow Marines while on foot, a training run, flag folding, Marines running to an awaiting Osprey, and a CH-53E (Big Iron) helicopter flying. A map of the Hawaiian Island Chain is also featured in the ground of the print.
Navy: All of the ships and planes featured in the art are currently or were formerly based in Hawai‘i and serve the Pacific region. Featured in the print are “Big Decks” – Aircraft Carriers, Amphibious Assault Ships, Cruisers, Destroyers, and submarines. Planes from various decades are also included and represent the generations of technology that the U.S. Navy has flown or flies.
Air Force: Founded in 1947, the U.S. Air Force has a long and distinguished history, with its members serving bravely in every major conflict since World War I. This print honors those airmen and women past and present who have served our country. The hand painted artwork showcases the evolving technology, aircraft, and efforts of this vital military branch.
Space Force: Established in 2019, the USSF is the newest branch of the United States Armed Forces. This stellar hand-painted print is a tribute to the incredible technology and future missions of the United States Space Force.
