Players are divided into two groups. The "Cultists" use ideas from the deck to craft a ridiculous story, which they pitch to the other players. The "Recruits" ask questions from the cards to determine which cult suits them best, such as: "What should I bring to my first cult meeting?", "Which cult here is your biggest enemy and why?", or the crucial question, "What’s in it for me?"
