The blue spring kit is one of the quickest and easiest upgrades you can install on your 6.0L Ford Powerstroke. This kit not only helps with longevity, it can also quiet the engine down, and rev up faster which in turn helps spool the turbo faster. Maintaining proper fuel pressure prevents the injectors from outflowing the stock fuel pump so no air is introduced into the injection system.
The Adjustable Spring Housing is a major benefit for those individuals that are running much larger injectors as this will give you the ability to raise the pressure with the simple turn of a screw. Also, as miles rack up on your truck with this kit, springs can settle, this housing will allow you to return the truck fuel pressure back to the proper setting. Sinister Diesel suggests running your fuel pressure between 55-68psi. The factory housing is constructed of cast aluminum and is known to leak or "weep" from the sides of the housing. The thicker and stronger billet construction eliminates this issue and also adds a little style under the hood.
The OEM plastic fuel filter cap is notorious for cracking. Leaking fuel in the engine bay is just asking for trouble. The Sinister Diesel replacement cap is constructed from a solid chunk of billet aluminum and is machined for a perfect fit and eliminates the risk of cracking. This cap is anodized Sinister Blue for corrosion resistance and features a 1/8th inch NPT port for testing fuel pressure.
