The Vesta Fire DIG-412B is a rare digital delay unit from the early 1980s. (Vesta Fire became the well known Japanese brand Vestax in 1987.) This rack-mounted processor is renowned for its distinctive delay effects, attributed to its 12-bit digital-to-analog conversion and the inclusion of the CEM3360 Dual Analog Voltage-Controlled Amplifier.|
Condition:
• This unit has been used.
• This unit has been thoroughly tested and everything is working as it should. Please note that it is very difficult to find any information online about this item. The Hold function works almost like a primitive sampler. It only works when the unit is set to higher delay times. It does not work when the delay times are too short. We believe this is how the unit was built, and is not a fault.
• This unit has one line out on one of the little 7 segment displays. This does not affect the use too much as it is just one bar, so it is easy to interpret what number it should be.
• This unit shows some wear from use and age. This includes some marks, nicks and scratches. Nothing major at all. Please see all photos.
• Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale here. They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7.
• If you purchase from outside Australia you may need a step-down transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.
• This sale is for the unit only. Nothing else is included unless specified above.
