While both father and son—Ajoy and Pranoy Thipaiah—are deeply involved in nearly every aspect of Kerehaklu Estate, each has naturally gravitated toward the areas where their experience and instincts best serve the farm. Broadly speaking, Mr. Ajoy oversees the plantation itself, focusing on plant health and overall agronomy, while Pranoy leads the post-harvest processing efforts. It has been remarkable to watch Pranoy’s approach to processing evolve over the past four seasons. He’s deeply curious about how processing can add nuance and character to coffee, but he’s equally committed to allowing plant genetics and the native microbiome to remain the dominant forces shaping flavor.

Pranoy’s method has an analogue in sourdough bread. He creates a starter culture using parchment coffee and mucilage. The native yeasts and bacteria on the fruit activate within this mixture, which is then cultivated into a vibrant starter culture used to inoculate fermentations. A typical Kerehaklu lot is processed as follows: Freshly harvested cherry is floated the same day it’s picked, then placed in open-air fermentation tanks from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. the following morning. After this overnight fermentation in cherry, the coffee is pulped and transferred to lidded plastic barrels containing fresh water and a measured amount of the previously mentioned starter culture. The coffee is stirred every few hours to introduce oxygen and ensure a uniform fermentation. After 35–37 hours, it is mechanically washed and then moved to drying. Drying begins under heavy shade for the first two days, after which the coffee is transferred to a polyhouse for continued drying.

Finally!
Size: X-Large, Color: All Black D (5-pack)
Finally, comfortable underwear that don’t end up giving me a wedgie. I have a round booty and most cuts of underwear end up shifting as I walk and sit. The hem of the underwear comes right under my cheeks and the lightweight material ensures there’s no panty line and no shifting to where I don’t want them! I’m definitely purchasing more.

Very thin, still comfy but very thin material. Super soft though. I've worn and washed and they have held up but I won't be repurchasing bc these are so thin

They’re fantastic!!!!
Size: X-Large, Color: Multicoloured E-(5-pack)
My clothing size is 16/18 and XL. Even though Amazon suggested a size XXL, I ordered my normal XL and they fit perfectly. The fabric for this style is 92% bamboo viscose and is amazingly soft and almost silky feeling. I had ordered a different boy short in this brand but they were 80% bamboo viscose and the fabric was significantly heavier. I returned those and ordered these.

Super soft and comfortable!
I haven't bought new underwear in forever. I used to wear thongs, but now find them incredibly uncomfortable. The last few times I've tried to buy new underwear, the sizing was either way off (I'm a medium, but gave up after having to return them for a large and then extra large) or the quality was horrible (two brands stretch waaaay out and they can fall down while wearing them (I have larger ass-ets, so they shouldn't start to slide down during use). I tried these after buying some bamboo pyjamas and I love them! They are incredibly soft, comfortable, and stretchy. I can use them all day, and they work well, whether I'm lounging on the couch or wearing them under my spandex shorts at the gym, they don't ride up or slide down. They are both comfortable and look sexy, while providing support in all the right places. I haven't had them too long, so I can't speak on the durability, but they appear to be of good quality and I plan to order more, this time without the band.

Well made, light fabric. Waist doesn't roll.
These bamboo underwear really do keep you cool. They fit true to size, and wear easily. the wide elastic waist band doesn't roll on me. They are comfortable to wear, washed and dried easily. The material has some stretch to it, but not a lot. Well made, no stray strings. Perfect fit for me. Just what I was looking for.
