Designed specifically for G56 manual transmission applications, this sound dampener installs between the shifter and transmission assembly. As with any newly installed shifter component, Diesels and Dirtbags recommends checking the hardware after the first week of use and re-tightening if necessary. Keeping a spare wrench or socket in the truck is also recommended in the event the shifter loosens over time.
