José Luis was a happy little boy who lived with his parents in a green house with a lovely little garden, decorated with paper flowers. But one day everything changed. It was as if he'd been torn in two and turned into two different kids: one who went with his dad, and another who stayed with his mom. That was when José Luis became two different persons: José and Luis. Each of them lived their lives separated one from the other, but they weren't as happy as when they'd been just one little boy.

Con ojos de niño reminds us of the importance of communicating, and that after a change in a family's structure, a child can feel "whole" again and grow up happily... even though his parents have separated.

Jose Luis era un niño alegre que vivía con sus padres en una casa de color verde, con un jardín pequeño pero entrañable y decorado con flores de papel. Pero un día todo cambió. Fue como si se hubiese partido y convertido en dos niños diferentes: el que se iba con su papá y el que se quedaba con su mamá. Fue así como José Luis pasó a ser dos personas diferentes: José y Luis. Los dos vivían vidas separadas, pero no estaban muy contentos, no tanto como cuando eran un único niño.

Con ojos de niño explora la importancia de la comunicación y nos recuerda que, tras experimentar la pérdida de la unión familiar, un niño puede sentirse "un todo" otra vez y crecer feliz... aunque sus papás se hayan separado.
