ARTIST BIO

Trevor Andrew, also known as GucciGhost, is a former professional snowboarder and Olympic athlete who is known today for his street art and digital designs featuring his signature motif of an inverted Gucci monogram.

Andrew’s artistic appropriation of consumer culture fuses the Pop art sensibility of Andy Warhol with aesthetics from skateboard culture and graffiti artists like Mark Gonzalez and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

In a surprising turn, Gucci offered Andrew a job in 2016, resulting in several collaborations and a popular capsule collection with the Italian fashion house.

Andrew produces art across many mediums, including paintings and digital NFTs, and his works have been exhibited in New York and Los Angeles, and at the Museum of Modern Art in Shanghai.

In addition to visual art, GucciGhost is also a musician and filmmaker. He has directed videos for artists like Diplo and Zoë Kravitz, produced music for his wife Santigold, and has released an album under the moniker “Trouble” Andrew.
