The Kaipak is a simple, hardwearing yet exceptionally comfortable and versatile pack which is ideal for multi-day trips with plenty of weight. Made from G-1000 Heavy Duty Eco, it's guaranteed to last years of abuse.

The Kaipak, as with most of Fjallraven's products, is built to last. The outer fabric is made from their most durable fabric, G-1000 Heavy Duty Eco. This tough as nails fabric is made from a mix of organic cotton and recycled polyester which guarantees years of use and abuse. The base is then reinforced with Nylon to add further durability. 

Comfort has to be the main priority when designing a pack, and Fjallraven have ensured that no matter what your carrying load, you'll remain cool and comfortable for the duration of your activity. Starting at the bottom and working our way up, a thick, highly padded hipbelt takes around 70% of the packs weight, reducing stress on your lower back. This hipbelt is pre-curved, super comfortable and features two external pockets for snacks and accessories. Moving up, a chest strap with a built in safety whistle ensures the shoulder straps stay put on technical terrain. The shoulder straps are then also heavily padded to ensure the highest level of comfort for long outings. At the top of the shoulder straps you're given two more straps to pull the weight closer to your back. 

No pack is complete without a series of clever storage options. The Kaipak features a large top lid pocket for quick to access items, a sleeve for a hydration system, a large front pocket for extra shoes, waterproofs or maps, a pocket which stores a raincover and two hipbelt pockets. Other useful features include an entry into the pack from the base, meaning you don't have to empty the contents of the Kaipak to get to your sleeping bag or water. You also get attachment points for walking poles and ice axes on the front of the pack. 

Fjallraven have always done things a little differently when it comes to pack. You won't see stupidly lightweight figures, a plethora of straps and the latest in spaceage foam, however what you do get is a pack which will literally last a lifetime of use, that can be passed down to future generations for another 10 years of use, that will accompany you on every adventure without so much as a thread coming out of place.
