This water-based serum is bottled in a 100% oxygen-free and light-free environment, capturing Vitamin C in its absolute purest natural form.

• Key Ingredient Composition: 10% L-ascorbic acid

• Note on composition and delivery mechanism: Due to the accumulation effects of topical ascorbic acid and the eventual saturation point as documented by Pinnell et al. (ref.), the serum has been calibrated to 10% L-ascorbic acid with a pH of 3.46, which is sufficient to reach the LAA saturation point within 3-4 days of daily application, while also reducing any irritation effects experienced with lower pH and/or higher concentrations of L-ascorbic acid. In an aqueous solution of this nature, additional absorption enhancing ingredients are unnecessary.
• Stabilization technology: Anaerobic manufacturing and bottling using a patented (US Patent # 20240359846A1) process under nitrogen blanket. HPLC assay tests confirmed zero loss of L-ascorbic acid after 60 days of storage at standard ambient conditions (SATP).
• Note on the absence of ferulic acid: Ferulic acid is responsible for the infamous odor experienced in all ferulic acid-based serums as well as the primary irritant. Though it does increase UV protective properties of L-ascorbic acid serums, we believe this task is much more appropriately handled by broad-spectrum sunscreen––making the inclusion of ferulic acid unnecessary and particularly unwarranted given its significant drawbacks in a serum that is stabilized by its packaging technology.
