The Krone General George Armstrong Custer Silver Fountain Pen #101 channels Krone's art-driven approach to commemorative writing instruments. This numbered limited edition pairs a richly polished silver-tone presentation with hand-painted artistry honoring one of American history's most studied military figures. The result is a substantial, collector-grade fountain pen that reads equally well in the hand and in the display case.

Craftsmanship & Design

Krone is known for editions that blend fine art with precision metalwork, and this Custer iteration follows that ethos. The pen features hand-painted detailing that brings a nuanced portraiture quality to the design, rendered in a warm, period-evocative palette with brown and sepia tones. The silver-toned metal surfaces provide a refined counterpoint, catching light with a quiet luster that frames the artwork without distraction. Each pen in the series is individually numbered; this example bears the number 101, underscoring its place within the edition.

Attention to finishing is evident throughout, from the clean transitions between materials to the thoughtfully proportioned silhouette. The overall impression is one of balance and restraint: a commemorative pen that favors authenticity and craft over embellishment.

Writing Experience

Equipped with an 18k gold nib in a fine grade, the pen offers a smooth, responsive line with the tactile feedback enthusiasts appreciate for everyday notes, correspondence, and signatures. The fine point supports legibility and controlled ink application, making it a versatile choice across a range of premium inks.

A cartridge-converter system adds practical flexibility. Load a converter for bottled inks or use cartridges when traveling; either way, the filling approach remains clean, reliable, and easy to maintain. The pen's metal construction gives a confident, purposeful presence in hand while remaining comfortable over extended sessions.

Historical Context & Collector Relevance

General George Armstrong Custer served as a prominent cavalry officer during the American Civil War and later on the Western frontier. His life and legacy, punctuated by the 1876 Battle of the Little Bighorn, continue to generate scholarship and discussion. Krone's edition engages this complex history through fine-art miniature work and refined materials, transforming the pen into a thoughtful object of reflection as well as a writing tool.

For collectors of themed limited editions, the combination of hand-painted artwork, precious-nib construction, and individual numbering anchors the pen's long-term interest. It sits comfortably alongside other Krone historical releases and appeals to those who value narrative-rich design executed with care.

My Review...
Format: Paperback
This is a great addition to the Simpsons' book family. It is just like the show, but you can spend as much time reading it as you want. I think this book is extermly fuuny. I have read pretty much every Simpsons' book and this is worth being next with them. I love how the Simpsons' comedy is different than other cartoons and even shows. The comedy is not always dark but it is not always light either. "Little Shop of Homers" was a great finisher. I wish it would of been longer, but it is OK. As with most people, one of my favorite parts in the Simpsons' comics are the in between things. For example, "Moe's Guide To Superstitions", "Bart Simpson-Master Of Disguise presents The Quick 'N' Easy, Low-Budget Do-It-Yourself Guide To COOL COSTUMES". Well, that is all I can really say. I suggest Simpson fans should read this. Keep them coming and I will keep reading.. Have A Nice LiFE! Ryan

Best halloween special yet!
Format: Paperback
This is another of the many must have books for the true simpson fan. This book provides hours of laughs and would make a great gift. It has main stories, and in between shorts such as Springfield in #%*$, and a yocals guide to Halloween. I enjoy this book every time I pick it up, and you should to!

Holistic Understanding
Format: Paperback
I passed my CAPM exam in December 2025. This book helped me understand how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together for the CAPM. I also supplemented with other resources, but this book helped really tie everything together. Read it all and do all the practice quizzes and tests to really get a solid understanding. I'll look for PMP related books by the same author. Very well written and easy to understand.

Buy this one. It is straight to the point!
Format: Paperback
I don't usually write reviews. But this book was amazing. It was a life saver to have me refresh from my masters degree. I read domains three and four. Then I went through about 400 of the practice questions and was able to ace my exam above target in all domains. It is really easy to follow and I will be using it as a stepping stone when it is time to take the PMP exam. Definitely buy this one.

Helped Me Pass the CAPM
Format: Paperback
You need more than this to pass the exam, but this is an excellent study guide and structure. The practice questions are way easier than the actual exam. Don't let them give you a sense of false confidence. Especially if you don't have experience. I recommend to Google project management courses, IBM, or there's another one on Udemy. Use the PMI practice exam, too.
