A Swiss coin, an everyday object of the Edwardian era, has been beautifully personalised. One side has been partially polished out and onto which has been hand engraved with ‘Marécottes 9.9. 1900‘. Marécottes is a village in the Swiss Alps so this may have created to celebrate a holiday or even that happen here.

CONDITION: This is overall in lovely antique condition with some wear and knocks to the pendant. The finish is bright and crisp and ready to wear.

AFTERCARE: with all vintage and antique jewellery they are not perfect. To extend its life, treat it with love and avoid contact with any chemicals. Silver will tarnish with time, however a quick polish with silvo or a polish cloth with making it look beautiful. The more the piece is worn the slower the tarnish will appear! Love it and wear it
