This study investigates the development, manufacture, decoration and use of the Roman infantry helmet, a vital piece of personal protection equipment of both legionary and auxiliary troops.

The protective headgear worn by Roman foot soldiers of the Republican period was adopted directly from the Etruscans, who had in turn adapted helmets from neighbouring European cultures within and beyond the Italian peninsula. In this study, a renowned authority explains how its form remained largely unchanged until the Late Republic, when contact and conflict with a wider variety of cultures introduced new influences.

The dynamic forces at work during civil wars and transition from the Republic to the Principate at the end of the 1st century BC saw a whole range of types introduced which then evolved until new influences prompted further changes. M.C. Bishop shows how this culminated in contact with Eastern cultures leading to completely new types being introduced, which simplified manufacture and led to a variety of post-Roman helmet types.

Many new finds have ensured that much has changed in the narrative of Roman helmets in recent scholarship and the time is ripe for this accessible examination of the development, manufacture and use of the Roman infantry helmet. The text is complemented by carefully chosen illustrations, many in colour, and eight plates of specially commissioned artwork.

Leak proof training pants
Size: 3T-4T, Unit Count: 112
These training pants are amazing. My son uses them whenever he’s taking a nap or sleeping throughout the night. I’ve ordered these multiple times and we’ve never had an issue with leaking.

Great for potty training
Size: 3T-4T, Unit Count: 20
We really like these pull ups and they have worked well for us during potty training. They are easy to pull on and off, which is great for toddlers who are learning to be more independent. They fit well and do a good job containing messes without leaking. I also like that they feel comfortable and not too bulky, so my child can move around easily. Overall, these have been a reliable option for us and something we continue to use during this stage.

Preferred by daycare teachers!

Preferred by daycares because they open and close on the sides and kids can learn to pull on and take on on their own

Nice
Size: 3T-4T, Unit Count: 112
Good pull ups, it could get a little linty but it fits perfectly on my toddler. It stretches which I love. I do love how I could strap and unstrap the sides of the pull up. The designs on the pull up are cute. It holds a lot of pee and soaks it up very well. It’s comfortable on my toddler and the pee and poop doesn’t leak out of it. It is worth the money.

The Fast & the Curious- Potty Drift
Size: 5T-6T, Unit Count: 60
Who knew toddler potty training required both a PhD in fluid dynamics and Jedi mind tricks? These Pull-Ups prove the science part: leak-proof, absorbent, and surprisingly soft. The toddler-psychology part? That’s a battle of wills. Our little one was a die-hard fan of Huggies diapers—too loyal, in fact. We begged, we bribed, we pleaded: “Please, let’s move on!” Resistance was fierce. So we went stealth mode, sneaking Pull-Ups on at night like parents on a covert mission. Credit to mom—she cracked the code and finally got the kid interested in the toilet. Suddenly, the “potty rush” moments became less of a flood and more of a sprint. Diapers were too slow to peel off; Pull-Ups gave our little sprinter the speed boost they needed. They’re soft, rash-free, and practically leak-proof (unlike that other brand we don’t speak of). Pro tip: size up for easier toddler self-removal. The result? A drier, happier kid, less laundry for us, and the toilet finally earning MVP status. If you’re ready for your toddler to graduate from Diaper University, this is the diploma. Bonus: you’ll save money too.
