The Roland S-550 is a vintage rackmount digital sampler released in 1987. It offers 16-voice polyphony, sample rates of 30 kHz and 15 kHz, and doubled sample memory compared with the earlier S-50. It is important to note that the S-550 was designed to be used with a screen and mouse. There are modern adaptors to get this set up with modern equipment. To use the sampler without the screen is extremely difficult and very limited as you cannot view all the menu options when using the small screen on the sampler itself.

These units seem to have a bit of a following and there is lots of information online. You can also find the user manual online for free too. If you are unsure please feel free to check in with us.
Condition:
- This unit has been used.
- This unit has been thoroughly tested and everything is working as it should. It has no faults to note.

This unit has had a brand new Gotek USB floppy emulator installed. It boots from the USB and loads sounds from USB. There are currently around 90 or so library sounds on the USB for its new owner to get started. (If you are unfamiliar with the Goteks, we would recommend doing a little research to get familiar with how they function).
- The cosmetic condition of this unit is good. It shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. There is some rack rash. Nothing major at all. Please see all photos.
- Please be aware, this unit is 100V. This means you MUST connect it to the correct step-down transformer before powering it on. If you are unsure about this feel free to send us a message as we would be glad to help you source the correct item. We also have some for sale HERE.
- The use of a step-down transformer may also apply to international buyers as well. Please ask if you are unsure so we can help you source the correct item.
- This sale is for the S-550 only.

Very Essential Pants!

I saw the mauve pants while browsing at a bargain price. I when I tried them on, I didn’t want to take them off. They looked great, fit perfectly and were so comfortable that I felt like I was wearing PJs. I ordered them in size 0. I am just shy of 5’ and thin, so finding casual but dressy slacks that fit is difficult. The material is soft and a perfect thickness to wear all year, not too heavy but provides enough warmth for cooler days. Being cotton with a tad of stretch keeps them from wrinkling a lot and looking fresh. In fact I loved them so much that I went back and bought every color available. Nice to not wear jeans dominate my choices. I took a picture showing all the colors which I bought. Oh, I love the style with the simple zipper in the front and welting on the legs. Also a feature is the fact that the waist hits my real waist and makes me look taller.
Kudos on these VERY Essential pants.

Love these pants. They are multifaceted when it comes to being part of a casual look or dressier look! The fit is great and so far the zipper holds, it does not slide down throughout the day. They also wash and dry well! I purchased as many of them as I could before they showed out of stock! When you find something good, better stock up!

The perfect casual work pants!
Size: 16, Color: Camel
I love these pants! I used the size chart to order per my measurements and it worked out perfectly. I am 5’5” 180lbs and ordered size 16 in Camel. These are more on the casual side, but with the right styling they could be dressed up. They are soft with a brushed cotton feel. They have just enough stretch to add to comfort, but not so stretchy that they lose their shape or don’t retain initial structure. I wore them for a full work day the required a lot of walking, bending, and squatting.
They are just a couple inches longer on me than I’d like, but most cropped/ankle style pants are. I didn’t notice prior to ordering they don’t have a button. No worries - the zipper stays up and makes for a flattering and different look. I plan to order again in a couple different colors. I’m shocked at how good the quality considering I only paid $14 for them.
