GAT Sport Nitraflex Ultra is a high-stim pre-workout that packs real muscle performance ingredients with a smart energy and focus blend, plus some hydration support. A lot of pre-workouts pick one thing and ignore the rest. They either go all-in on stims and skimp on performance, or they give you a decent pump but leave the energy weak. Nitraflex Ultra hits both sides hard.

The main performance ingredients are solid. You get 5g L-Citrulline. Studies show the sweet spot is 6-8g, so this is just under that but still effective for boosting plasma arginine and nitric oxide – that's what improves blood flow, muscle fullness, and keeps the pump going longer than the usual 3g doses you see. Beta-Alanine is at 3.2g, the standard dose from research for building up carnosine in your muscles. Carnosine helps fight off the acid buildup that causes that burning feeling during intense reps, and it works even better after 2-4 weeks of steady use. Betaine Anhydrous is 2.5g, matching what's used in studies for better power, endurance, and keeping cells hydrated – super helpful in longer workouts where fatigue sneaks in.

On the energy side, it's no joke. Caffeine hits 350mg from green coffee bean extract – that's high-stim level. Alone, it could feel too jittery, but they add 100mg L-Theanine to make it smoother, 150mg Theobromine for a milder, longer-lasting boost, and 50mg Dynamine® (that's methylliberine from Compound Solutions) to amp up alertness without overloading on caffeine.

GAT Nitraflex Ultra by GAT Sport contains 5mg Niacin, a standard dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 5,000mg L-Citrulline gives you a good dose of this nitric oxide booster that helps with blood flow, pump, and getting oxygen to your muscles. It's just under the usual 6-8g from studies, but way better than the weak 2-3g you see in a lot of pre-workouts.
  • 3,200mg Beta-Alanine is the proven daily dose for ramping up muscle carnosine. That helps buffer the acid that builds up and burns during tough reps, so this stuff gets better the more you use it consistently.
  • 2,500mg Betaine Anhydrous is right at the dose from strength and power studies. It boosts your output, endurance, and keeps cells hydrated, which is key when you're grinding through high-volume sets and starting to fatigue.
  • 350mg Caffeine puts this in serious high-stim category. It's not a light pick-me-up – it's a real kick to your nervous system for better alertness, drive, and feeling ready to go.
  • 100mg L-Theanine tones down the caffeine rush to make it feel smoother. You get less jitters, clearer headspace, and better focus during workouts than with straight high-caffeine stuff.
  • 50mg Dynamine® brings in methylliberine, a branded ingredient from Compound Solutions, to crank up energy and focus without making the whole thing feel like too much caffeine.
  • 150mg Theobromine adds a longer, easier stim effect. It often feels like steady alertness and good mood through the later parts of your session, not just a quick spike and drop.
  • 1,000mg L-Tyrosine helps make catecholamines when you're under stress, like during a brutal workout when your focus might slip. It works great with caffeine for keeping your head in the game when you're tired.

GAT Nitraflex Ultra by GAT Sport contains 5mg Niacin, a standard dose for training performance and pump.

Who Is This For?

  • Guys with experience doing high-volume hypertrophy who want a pre that makes workouts feel better and actually perform better. 5g L-citrulline helps pump and flow, while 3.2g beta-alanine and 2.5g betaine are dosed solid, not just for show.
  • Strength-hypertrophy folks training after long days who need sharp mind and body drive. 350mg caffeine, 1g tyrosine, 500mg DL-phenylalanine, 200mg choline, 100mg theanine, and 50mg Dynamine® give aggressive energy without the scatterbrain feel.
  • High-stim fans sick of pre-workouts that peak quick and die. Theobromine and Dynamine® make the energy last longer for full sessions.
  • Lifters who feel it when electrolytes are missing. Multi-sodium, potassium from Calci-K®, and magnesium malate suit heavy sweaters or hot training better than plain stims.
  • Athletes in high-intensity repeats like bodybuilding circuits, sled work, or tough accessories. 3.2g beta-alanine builds carnosine, and sodium bicarbonate adds extra buffering for fatigue.
  • People wanting a clear-label pre instead of prop blends. Key ingredients have exact doses, so you can check against studies yourself.

How to Use

If you're new to this or your caffeine tolerance is average, start with half a scoop. A full one has 350mg caffeine plus 150mg theobromine and 50mg Dynamine®, which can be too much if you dive right in. Mix it 20-30 minutes before training; that lets the stims and focus stuff hit as you finish warm-ups. Shake in 10-16 oz cold water, add more if you want milder flavor. It works best with a light meal 60-90 minutes before or on an empty stomach; heavy food right before can slow it down. Don't stack with coffee, energy drinks, fat burners, or extra nootropics unless you're tracking stims. Add daily creatine monohydrate for ATP support since it's not in here. Tolerance can build, so save it for big training days. Keep it sealed in a cool, dry spot to avoid clumps.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: you'll start feeling the stims kicking in, especially on an empty stomach. Minutes 10-20: caffeine ramps up, theobromine adds a smooth boost, and beta-alanine might give you that tingly skin feel. Minutes 20-40: this is prime time – peak mental readiness, drive, and early pump as citrulline boosts blood flow with your lifting. Minutes 40-90: it holds strong thanks to theobromine and Dynamine® keeping energy and focus going longer than straight caffeine. Days 1-7: you get instant energy, focus, and pump, but beta-alanine is still loading. Weeks 2-4: with steady 3.2g beta-alanine, muscle carnosine builds, making high-rep sets easier to handle and less drop-off between them.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in GAT Sport Nitraflex Ultra?

Nitraflex Ultra contains 350mg caffeine per serving from green coffee bean extract. That already qualifies as a high-stim dose, and the formula also includes 150mg theobromine and 50mg Dynamine®, which can make the overall energy experience feel even stronger than the caffeine number alone suggests.

Is 5g of L-citrulline enough to notice a pump?

Yes, most trained users will notice it. The classic clinical range for L-citrulline is usually cited around 6-8g, so 5g is slightly below that benchmark, but it is still a clearly effective dose and substantially better than the 2-3g underdosing seen in many mainstream pre-workouts.

Why does Nitraflex Ultra make my skin tingle?

That sensation usually comes from the 3.2g beta-alanine dose. It is called paresthesia, it is harmless for most users, and it is common when beta-alanine is dosed at the research-backed level used to support muscle carnosine loading.

Is Nitraflex Ultra good for strength training?

Yes, especially if your strength sessions also include moderate-to-high volume work. Betaine at 2.5g supports power and performance, beta-alanine helps with repeated hard efforts, and the stimulant-focus stack can improve training intent and output during demanding sessions.

Can beginners use Nitraflex Ultra?

Most beginners should start elsewhere or use only half a serving after assessing tolerance. With 350mg caffeine plus theobromine and Dynamine®, this formula is much more appropriate for experienced pre-workout users than someone just getting started.

Should I take Nitraflex Ultra every day or only on training days?

Most users will take it on training days, especially harder sessions where the stimulant load is justified. However, the 3.2g beta-alanine dose does work best when taken consistently over time because its main performance effect comes from cumulative carnosine saturation rather than immediate acute stimulation.

Can I stack Nitraflex Ultra with creatine?

Yes, and that is one of the best ways to round out the formula. Nitraflex Ultra already covers blood flow, buffering, energy, and focus well, but it does not include creatine, so adding 3-5g creatine monohydrate daily complements it by supporting phosphocreatine replenishment and repeated high-output efforts.

What makes Dynamine® different from just adding more caffeine?

Dynamine® is a trademarked form of methylliberine from Compound Solutions. It is used to intensify perceived energy and alertness in a different way than simply increasing caffeine, helping create a stronger and more layered stimulant profile without relying on caffeine alone.

Does Nitraflex Ultra support hydration, or is it just a stim pre-workout?

It does more than just stimulate. The formula includes multiple sodium sources plus potassium, magnesium malate, and Calci-K®, which gives it a real hydration and electrolyte component that supports fluid balance, muscle contraction, and training performance.

How late in the day can I take Nitraflex Ultra?

For most users, this is best reserved for morning or early afternoon training. A 350mg caffeine dose paired with Dynamine® and theobromine can easily interfere with sleep if used too close to bedtime, even in people who think they handle stimulants well.

An action-packed dark romantasy
Format: Kindle
I loved this book! Queen of Roses is an Arthurian-inspired dark romantasy that is the first book in the Blood of Fae series. The story follows Morgan, the princess of Camelot who is rumored to be part fae. Fueled by prejudiced hatred and a mistrust of fae blood, Morgan’s abusive father strips her of her birthright and hands it to her half-brother, Arthur. Instead of becoming queen, Morgan is commanded to join the temple of the goddesses when she comes of age. However, Arthur turns into a psychopathic, power-hungry, fae-hating king as he ages. He develops malevolent plans and commands Morgan to find an ancient weapon with legendary power. Although Morgan is wary of Arthur’s intentions, she embraces the opportunity to go on a journey and potentially change her fate. The story picks up from there and we follow Morgan on her quest to find the ancient relic. It’s full of high stakes adventure, mystery, tension, banter, forced proximity, hidden magic, self discovery, and betrayal. This first installment of the series intricately develops the world building and character development. There’s little romance in this book, but it is evident that it is a slow burn that will continue to develop throughout the remainder of the series. Overall, I loved the world building, the epic fantasy, Morgan’s journey of self discovery, and all of the twists and turns that set the stage for the future installments. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.
