This is a lovely original work on heavy paper, done in the early 1970's. Acquired from an important Southern California collector, who was close to the Master, and acquired the work directly from Toledo in Mexico. It measures 10 x 13.5" (25 x 34cm.) plus framing, and was done around 1972. This work is beautifully framed.

This work will be shipped within the US for a cost of $150, rolled in a secure tube, and insured, if shipped without the framing. It we will pack and ship insured, for $250. For worldwide shipping, it will ship at our cost of $200, unframed.

This work has very great provenance, and we guarantee the authenticity and will provide a COA. There is a photo indicating a signed dedication by Toledo to the woman who has owned this work for decades after acquiring the work directly from the Master.

Recognized worldwide for his work and personality, Toledo is considered one of the greatest Mexican artists of the 21st century. He was a multidisciplinary artist, cultural promoter and social fighter in favor of indigenous people and the environment. Expert in painting, drawing, sculpting and engraving, he frequently imposed his non-rational interpretation of reality.

Through Rufino Tamayo, he managed to study in Paris and sell his first works. Having experienced the artistic avant-garde, his work began to have its own style and although he came to be associated with the Generation of Breakup, he always established his autonomous character.

Among the constant themes in his work are fantastic figures, human and animal, sex, insects, the study of eschatology and entomology, as well as Oaxacan traditions and culture. His work acts and raises plastic aspects, in it he proposes textures through shading with colors that generate immense sensory experimentation.

In 1988 he founded the Institute of Graphic Arts of Oaxaca and in 2005 he was awarded the Alternative Nobel Prize from the Swedish foundation Right Livelihood Award for his work in defense of cultural heritage. He has participated in numerous exhibitions worldwide and his work is part of the collections of the Museums of Modern Art in Mexico City, Philadelphia, New York and Paris, as well as the Tate Gallery in London and the Kunstnaneshus in Oslo, among countless others.

Simple sheets at the right price
Color: 01 - Dark Grey, Size: Twin
Pretty good. I'm picky about softness, and I find these comfy. They are a little on the thin side, but for the price they are totally worth it! Ive purchased 2 different sizes now over the past few months.

Nice
Color: 18 - Teal Blue, Size: California King
Just received, washed them and put them on the bed. First time sleeping on them and we really like them. The teal is a beautiful color, they’re soft and feel comfortable, not hot. It was a little hard to put on the fitted sheet but they give you plenty of coverage with the California King. I told one of my sisters about them and she’s planning on getting some. They’re a great price.

Amazing sheets!
Color: 09 - Ivory, Size: Queen, Color: 09 - Ivory, Size: Queen
These sheets are super nice! The color is on point, and they’re very soft and breathable. There’s a memory foam topper on top of this mattress and it fits over them both perfectly! I would definitely recommend these! 😊
