Animed® Ammonium Chloride is a high-purity (99.9%) urine acidifier designed to support urinary tract health in livestock. Commonly used by goat producers, it helps prevent urinary calculi (kidney stones) that are especially common in castrated male goats and bucks. This flavorless, easy-to-mix powder is also used to treat metabolic alkalosis, dissolve struvite stones, and enhance the effectiveness of certain antimicrobials.
