Wilwood D8-4 Rear Caliper Kit Red Corvette C2 / C3 65-82D8 4 rear calipers are a direct bolt on replacements for the OE calipers on all 1965 82 Corvettes. Type III hard anodized forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons, and high temperature seals put an end to the rust, bore pitting and seal failures that plague the OE caliper design. D8 6 calipers provide low maintenance performance, a huge weight savings, high temperature reliability, and the added benefit of six piston pad clamping power.
D8-4 rear calipers are a direct bolt-on replacements for the OE calipers on all 1965-82 Corvettes. Type III hard anodized forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons, and high-temperature seals put an end to the rust, bore pitting and seal failures that plague the OE caliper design. D8-6 calipers provide low-maintenance performance, a huge weight savings, high temperature reliability, and the added benefit of six piston pad clamping power. D8-4 calipers mount in the stock location over stock rotors, use the original style D8 brake pads, and fit snugly inside most ’67 or newer production wheels. Some wheels, including the 1965-66 OE “JK” code steel wheels and a few aftermarket replica alloy wheels, will require a 3/16” or wider wheel spacer for clearance. Great for 2 cycle, meh for 4 cycle.

This stuff is flat out amazing for 2 cycle small engines, works like advertised. 4 cycle isn't as good, if your engine hasn't ran in years, you'll still have to clean the carb, but it does help some. The 2 cycle oil for one is a lubricant and inhibits varnish buildup (especially a synthetic premium brand), and usually premium oil has a fuel stabilizer in it. Plus if you don't have a float bowl, there's not enough fuel for phase separation. I also use it in my mix for my ultrasonic cleaner when cleaning carbs. Overall a very good product, but understand it's limitations in this modern age of ethanal fuel.

It Works

This stuff works. I added it to my four 5 gallon gas cans before filling them up. I’ve used 10 gallons of gas in my lawn tractor so far and can tell it likes it. I do annual maintenance before summer and check or change the spark plug so it performs the best it can. I have 508 hours on it and with this it seems like it idols smoother, which indicates it has helped in the carburetor since I haven’t had to remove it and clean it. Works great.

Great product

Used this stabil in my rider after first start of the season. Machine running rough and uneven. Drained old fuel and added it. Within 15 minutes at full throttle it began to run normal. No back fires and engine back to normal. There will always be a bottle of this in my garage.

Works Great

I"ve used Stabil gas treaments for year but never this particular type. With gas the way it is, I decided to see how it might help my mower and also my older truck. My older push mower which admittedly doesn't get pampered and petted seems to love it. Either it's grateful to get anything special or this stuff really has helped. The first tank seemed a little smoother but by the second I could hear the difference and feel it with the smoother sound and seems more power. It's easy to mix and use and Stabil is a well known reputable company.
