✔ Steam Engine Origin:

Mechanical transportation was fueled by steam before the invention of the gasoline-powered engine. British Thomas Savery first invented a steam pump, which called  “water by fire," to help pump water out of coal mines in 1698. It's not until the 17th century were attempts made to harness steam for practical purposes.

✔ Simulations:

KACIO brand name originated from the "ka zi, ka zi" sound made by the steam engine. The design is inspired by the steam engine during Renaissance. In order to be more realistic, the black and brass color make it more classic and durable, by casting & electro-coating.  What's more, we specially made an integrated crankshaft for stable performance. And our designer also choose to use mini hexagonal screws (note: special tools must be used for unscrewing), chocks, and equipped with excellent lubrication system. The flywheel is made of SUS304 and electrophoresed into a classic red.  (the height of the spindle can be reduced after removing chocks)

✔ Precision Casting Process:

The engine consists of precision casting produced shape parts each carefully made with excellent surface finish & dimensional accuracy and checked to ensure reliability in service. surface electrophoresis treatment does not fall off for a long time.The surface electrophoresis will make not fade and tarnish over time easily, and keep its initial luster and brightness. The spindle sleeve is made of high-hardness beryllium copper, which is resistant to friction and guarantees long-term operation.

✔ CNC Integrated Crankshaft:

.The crankshaft is essentially the backbone of steam engine. After 300-times trial,  the intergrated crankshaft is finnally machined for this model steam engine, which provides good stability & strength , high concentricity.

✔ Adjustable Oil Cup:

.Oil cup made of brass with M6*0.5 or 1/4-40 connection thread. The oil quantity is adjustable on these oilers via the knob. The through hole is 1.2 mm in diameter. The speed of the flow depends on the viscosity of the oil. A drain is at the bottom of the oil cup. and every lubrication ports are provided for each friction surface. Every joint surface is sealed with fluorine rubber ring, which is are not susceptible to the corrosion and high temperature.

✔ Suitable for 60cm+ Steam Boat :

The steam engine can be used as the best power for the 60cm+ long model ship. It supports positive and negative rotation. It can provide much more power for its large cylinder diameter and large stroke. Efficient boiler is recommended to be used together to guaranted the high power. (Note: Boiler is not included. You can buy it for yourself and you can consult us for a matching boiler.)

Note:

1. Every steam engine will be coated with anti-rust oil before leaving the factory to prevent rust. If it is not coated with anti-rust oil, sweaty hands can easily make it rust.

2. Please note that any boiler cannot support long-term operation. The air pressure in the video is 0.8MPA. We do not recommend running for a long time under 0.8MPA, because the wear of the friction surface is inevitable. After connecting the boiler (the pressure is 0.2-0.4MPA), as long as the lubrication is in good place, there is no need to worry about long-term operation, because we have strengthened the main connection points and made a plug-in structure.

3. The main oil cup lubricates the cylinder. Please lubricate each joint in advance before starting to prolong the service life of the machine
