Fidelity Research FR-54 Vintage Hi-Fi Tonearm

The Fidelity Research FR-54 is a tonearm manufactured in Japan during the 80's designed for use with turntables requiring a separate tonearm assembly. It is part of Fidelity Research’s range of standalone tonearms for analog playback systems.

The arm features an S-shaped arm tube and a detachable headshell system, allowing compatibility with a wide range of phono cartridges.

This tonearm is a nice, no frills, solid design. It looks nice and sounds great.


Condition:

  • This is a used unit.

  • Physically this unit is in good condition for its age. It shows some light wear from use and age. This includes some light scuffs and marks. There is some light surface oxidisation. Nothing major at all. There is nothing which detracts from the use or sound of this tonearm.

  • This tone arm has been tested and is working very well!

  • This tonearm ships with a wiring loom.

  • The FR-54 is definitely for people who are experienced with turntables and setting up tone arms. This is because this unit is delicate and require fine precision to set up. We will not be able to remotely help with set up or installation. So please ensure you are confident before purchase or have a technician who can install it for you. (If you are able to visit our store in West Gosford, NSW we could help with set up)

  • This sale is for the tonearm and wiring loom pictured only. There is no wiring loom included in this sale, nor any other parts are included in this sale.

Finally a ball my power chewers cannot destroy

I have two dogs, an American Bully and an American Pit Bull Terrier, and both of them love to chew. Most balls last a very short time around here before they are shredded or missing big chunks. This one has actually held up. They chase it, tug on it and sit and chew on it, and it is still in one piece with no pieces breaking off. One of my favorite things is being able to put food inside. I add some kibble or small snacks, and they will happily sit and work on it for a long time. It keeps them busy, gives them something safe to chew, and they get a little reward while they play. When they are done, I just rinse it out and it is ready to go again. If you have strong jawed dogs that usually destroy toys, this ball is worth trying.
