Cascade Highbankers are designed to use classification from the beginning to the end! With most other high bankers, there is just an upper grizzly and then the screened rocks drop into a plain old sluice box. However, the Cascade is better in that it offers 3-stage classification!

First stage begins in the top feed area where fine gold immediately drops through a punch plate and into a removable fine gold collection tray. This tray is mounted underneath the top feed area. The removable tray is lined with matting that classifies your gold and holds it in place. The tray can be removed without ever having to shut down. Just remove and rinse the contents into a clean pan.

Material that doesn't fall into the fine gold collection tray then continues to the second stage classification which is the expanded metal grizzly. At this stage, large waste rock falls off the end, the rest of the material falls through the grizzly onto the sluice below. Cascade Highbankers feature a portion of expanded metal in the sluice box as well as riffles and carpet. The riffles are a solid one-piece aluminum cut riffle that is mounted on hinges and two draw clamps that keep the riffles in the sluice. This ensures that your riffles will never get ruined by taking them out of the machine. The carpet underneath the riffles and expanded metal can be easily removed and cleaned and replaced.

The Cascade is the only high banker of its kind and is made in the USA. IMPROVED LEGS as of October 2024 = Solid square 1/2 inch tube marine grade aluminum makes unit lighter for easier transport and eliminates potential to rust. Top feed area is 10" wide x 23" long. Sluice is 10" wide and is available is 3 lengths: 28 inches, 34 inches or 45 inches. Choose sluice length from drop down menu.
