Originating from Central Anatolia, Turkey, this carpet was woven mid 20th Century according to traditional designs and techniques passed from generation to generation of home-based village weavers for local domestic use or trade/sale to supplement the family income. Locally sourced sheep wool was hand-spun and then dyed with vegetable / organic dyes specific to the area. These rugs were woven according to traditional techniques and designs, being quite boldly patterned and strongly colored and had quite thick, long pile/nap, with large central medallions on a plain base color encased by a series of border stripes featuring stylised floral or geometric motifs. The deep reds and dark blues which characterised these rugs were further accented by the browns, beige, tans and greens used in the detail. However, such strongly colored and heavily piled rugs are not as compatible with contemporary home decor as they were with life in the Village in Turkey, so the colors in this rug have been softened and faded in natural sun light and the pile reduced / shaved to produce the “ Vintage Distressed” look so in keeping with modern home decoration trends. The reduced pile allows for flexibility of placement under furniture and ease of cleaning in high traffic areas.Measures: 6 ft 6 in x 3 ft 3 in (194 cm x 102 cm).

Blue Color is off from photos.

The visor is lightweight and feels comfortable however I bought this for the color of blue which was a shade off from the photos. I was expecting more of a royal or blue with a purplish hue. This doesn’t match the blue color I was going for. The visor is great otherwise.

Perfect for beach life

I got this visor about a week ago and love it. I’ve worn it to Busch Gardens (not on the rides of course), paddle boarding and to the beach. It’s soft and the elasticity is perfect, not too tight but does fine on a windy beach day. It’s sweat absorbing and dries quickly. I washed it in a bra bag in the machine and air dried it, no problems. I’ve already ordered another color!

LOVE these visors!

Too cheap for its price, not expecting it to last long

Flimsy and cheap feeling, you can find much better visors on Amazon for a few bucks cheaper.
The bill is small, shorter than expected and it amuses me that the overly-long product “title” mentions being appropriate for men because I believe this visor would look ridiculously small on a normal man’s head. Honestly, fresh out of the package I wondered if I missed some detail about this being child sized.
I do like that it is lightweight and that I won’t have Velcro stuck in my hair, though as an experienced seamstress and crafter I can already tell this is going to lose its elasticity FAST (as other reviewers have mentioned). I do love the color.
