The beauty to this blend is that nearly every ingredient in this blend does have a long history of use. It appears the ancients seemed to be quite adept in their knowledge of herbs and oils. Basil, for example, has been used since the time of the Ancient Greeks as a means to detect witchcraft and continues to be used in many cultures as a fumigation herb which is reputed to rid the environment of negative entities.
