The PivoTell Automatic Advance Pill Dispenser incorporates a number of important and advanced features which are designed to help the user remain compliant with their medication regime whilst supporting their family members, carers and pharmacists.
The PivoTell Automatic Advance Pill Dispenser can be easily filled and programmed by the user, relative, carer or pharmacist to dispense pills up to 28 times a day, at the pre-programmed times the dispenser rotates, the alarm signal is heard, and the correct dosage comes into view through the opening in the lid.
The PivoTell Automatic Advance Pill Dispenser offers improved security as the self locking shutter over the lid opening prevents access to the medication tray except at the time that medication is programmed to be available, this prevents the possibility of double dosing or the forced movement of the medication tray by the user.
Features of the PivoTell Automatic Advance Pill Dispenser

- Display - the LCD display will be visible though the lid allowing the user and carer to view: the date and time, the time that the next dose is due, the number of doses remaining, the battery level.
- Batteries - It is be possible to use both Alkaline AA and re-chargeable batteries. Battery level meter and warning indicator.
- Transport the Dispender Upside Down - if a dosage time occurs when the dispenser is upside down it will alarm as normal but the tray will not move forward. Then when it is returned upright it will move to the correct position for that time of day.
- Compartments - Two or more compartments can be programmed to alarm at the same time (for those with many or large pills)
- Start delay function - delays activation to allow pharmacists or family members to easily fill in advance away from the user's home.
- Stop function - deactivates dispenser - useful for those using multiple dispensers in the home.
- Interface - An integral interface is provided that enables the device to be linked to Telecare systems (e.g. Lifeline / Carephone / Sayphone systems) with Alarm Response Centre response.
How does the PivoTell Automatic Advance Pill Dispenser work?
- A self- ocking shutter over the lid opening prevents access to the medication tray except at the time that medication is programmed to be available. This prevents the possibility of double dosing or the forced movement of the medication tray by the user.
- When the dispenser lid is closed the shutter locks making the medication tray inaccessible. At a dosage time the tray will advance clockwise and the shutter will be released.
- The alarm will sound and the light will flash to alert the user. The medication can be accessed by tilting the dispenser through 90 degrees. The shutter will swing open as the dispenser is tilted allowing the medication to fall out. The medication should be poured into the hand or a suitable container.
- Once medication has been dispensed by the user and it has been returned to the horizontal position the shutter will lock making the medication tray once again inaccessible. If the medication is not dispensed by the user within the programmed alarm time (the ‘After’ time: 5min–5hrs) the shutter will lock and thereby make the medication that remained in the open pill compartment but which had not been taken by the user inaccessible. This removes the possibility that the user will be able to take a dose immediately before the next dose is due and potentially double dose.
Features of LCD Display
The LCD display will be visible though the lid allowing the user and carer to view:
- The date and time
- The time that the next dose is due
- Number of doses remaining
- The battery level
- When horizontal the display will show the Date and the Time in sequence.
- At the Alarm Time the display will show ’Take Med’.
- When tilted forward the display will show in sequence (dates and times etc shown here are examples):
NEXT DOSE 16:30 MON || DOSES LEFT 9 || B (battery level) 75% || DATE: 23 SEPT 2011
- When only 4 doses remain the display will additionally show DOS 04. After this dose has been dispensed DOS 03, DOS 02, DOS 01 and finally DOS 00 will be displayed in sequence with the DATE and CLOCK
- When the battery capacity is less than 20%, LOWBATT will be displayed in sequence with the DATE and CLOCK
- This LCD display feature will be of particular benefit to carers / family members who will be able to make a visual check on the status of the dispenser without having to open it.

Cute but run BIG!
Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Macaroon
I can't get the jellies from Children's Place anymore. They are causing blisters. Wanted to try these but boy, they run HUGE. My daughters sneakers are Toddler sz 8. They are starting to get tight. So got a 9 in these. WAY big all around. So got an 8. Still, too big but will save those for next Summer. Would try a 7 but the price rose. Seem soft though and I like the brown color!
Would recommend but sizing is difficult. Not just in length but all around they are bigger.

Sleek, upscale and supremely comfortable
Size: 9, Color: Cognac
I did not know that Marc Joseph makes hands free slip ins. I own four pair of Skechers, and I thought they were the only game in town. I decided that I wanted a pair of business casual pair of wingtips. I already own two pair of Skechers Mark Nason wingtips in blue and black nubuck, so I bought a pair of their cognac colored. Perfectly fine shoes, but when they arrived, I didn't like the color, so the search was on! I found these cognac-colored Mark Joseph's and hands down, they fit the bill for what I was looking for!
I actually bought two more pair of Skechers in the brown family in the same oxford, elastic lace style: One pair of another style of their Mark Nason line and one pair of their Garza line. So now I am comparing three pair of Skechers to the Marc Joseph's. Obsessive, I know :). Luckily, I have a Skechers store near me for easy returns.
The look I was going for is a sleek, business casual that I could dress up or down. Three things that I love about the Marc Joseph's are the beautiful cognac finish: the white yet lower profile soles and the more formal, narrower toe style.
The MJ's nailed it with the color. They have a slightly darker, more lustrous and glossier look than the others. The color alone looks classier and pairs well with black pants which I wear for work almost every day.
The white soles are exactly what I was looking for. The visible rise is probably about a third of the thickness of the others and are a much more subtle, classier look. They offset the cognac color nicely but are not that in your face, sneaker looking, thick white sole.
When I was comparing them to the others right out of the box, I thought they would be too narrow and tight because they looked sleeker and narrower than the others. But they fit perfectly and were very comfortable right out of the box. Upon closer inspection and comparison, I realized the narrower, sleeker look is because the eyelets for the elastic shoelaces are closer together that give the illusion that the shoe is narrower. They compensate for what might create a tighter fit across the top of your foot with two stretchy "gores" they are called on either side of the upper part. The "slits" are nicely finished, and you can't see the stretchy part and add a nice design touch to the shoe. But between them and the elastic shoelaces, they must stretch just enough to make them extremely comfortable across the top. So, if you have a high instep/arch, they should accommodate it nicely.
Last but not least, they are very comfortable shoes. I wear a size 8 1/2 to 9 and my foot is slightly on the wide side. I bought the size 9's and they fit perfectly. If you are between sizes or have wider feet, you may want to size up a half size. Because the Skechers have much thicker soles, they might be slightly more cushioned, but the MJ's are cushioned more than enough for my purposes and very comfortable. Plus, they actually just feel better on my feet. I can't speak to how durable they will be as I just got them, but so far, so good.
So, there you have it. I rely on other people's reviews a lot when buying online, and especially for shoes. I know it's always a crap shoot, particularly when buying shoes online, so I hope this review helps. Everybody's feet are different, but I highly recommend these.

Comfortable and stylish
Size: 12, Color: Black
I'm very pleased with these shoes. I rarely write reviews, but these are extremely comfortable and stylish. I bought a black pair and a brown paid. Many times I have to get a wide, but the standard size 12 fits me well. Easy to slip into, yet still snug while walking.
I feel like the price is reasonable too.
Good cushioning, not too thin of a sole.
