Mopeka Pro Check Universal Collar Set: Secure Sensor Mounting for Plastic Water Tanks

Reliable, Leak-Free Installation for Flat Bottom Tanks

The Mopeka Pro Check Universal Collar Set provides a robust mounting solution for your Pro Check sensor on plastic water tanks. Designed specifically for flat bottom, non-magnetic tanks, this collar ensures a stable, long-lasting bond that keeps your sensor accurately positioned for consistent level readings. Whether you're monitoring a residential rainwater tank or a bulk water storage system, this collar simplifies installation and ongoing maintenance.

Unlike generic mounting brackets, the Mopeka collar features a pre-applied adhesive and included surface preparation materials, reducing installation time and the risk of improper bonding. The flat flange design sits flush against the tank floor, minimising stress points and potential leak paths. This is critical for plastic tanks where drilling or mechanical fasteners can compromise structural integrity over time.

Engineered for Easy Sensor Access and Service

One of the standout benefits of this collar set is the easy on-and-off lid. This allows you to remove or service your Pro Check sensor without disturbing the collar's bond to the tank. For users who need to replace batteries, clean the sensor face, or reposition the sensor, this feature saves time and avoids the need for re-adhesion. The four-point retention prongs hold the sensor securely, yet release with a simple twist, making maintenance straightforward even in confined tank spaces.

Key Features

  • Pre-applied adhesive with surface prep materials for a reliable, mess-free bond
  • Flat flange design suits plastic flat bottom tanks, ensuring full contact and stability
  • Quick-release lid allows sensor removal without breaking the tank seal
  • Four-point retention system holds Pro Check sensors firmly in place
  • Compatible with both bulk and residential Pro Check sensors for versatile use

Why Proper Sensor Mounting Matters

Inaccurate tank level readings often stem from sensor movement or poor acoustic coupling. The Mopeka Pro Check sensor relies on ultrasonic technology, which requires a consistent, flat interface with the tank bottom. A poorly mounted sensor can shift due to water currents, temperature changes, or tank flexing, leading to false readings or signal loss. This collar eliminates those variables by locking the sensor in the optimal position, ensuring reliable data for your Bluetooth tank monitoring system.

For off-grid, agricultural, or residential applications where water management is critical, dependable level sensing helps prevent overflows, pump damage, and unexpected water shortages. The Mopeka collar set is a small investment that protects your larger water system infrastructure.

Installation Tips for Best Results

To achieve maximum bond strength, thoroughly clean the tank surface using the provided preparation materials. Ensure the tank is empty and dry before applying the collar. Press firmly around the entire flange to activate the adhesive, and allow adequate curing time as per the included instructions. Once installed, the collar forms a permanent mounting point that withstands typical tank vibrations and temperature fluctuations.

Compatibility and Use Cases

This collar set is purpose-built for Mopeka Pro Check sensors (both bulk and residential models) and is optimised for plastic flat bottom tanks. It is not designed for curved or metallic tank surfaces. Common applications include:

  • Residential rainwater harvesting tanks
  • Agricultural water storage tanks
  • Bulk water transport tanks
  • Emergency water supply tanks

If you're using a Mopeka sensor on a metal tank or a tank with a curved bottom, consider the appropriate Mopeka mounting solution for those surfaces.

Secure Your Sensor Today

Ensure your Mopeka Pro Check sensor delivers accurate, uninterrupted level data with the Universal Collar Set. Order now to simplify your tank monitoring setup and gain peace of mind with a professional-grade mounting solution.

REVIEW FROM A NON-BEGINNER HERE
Flavor Name: Ceremony Matcha-1.06oz, Flavor Name: Ceremony Matcha-1.06oz
I’ve been drinking matcha for years and I’m very particular with the quality and how I make it. I’ve tried many matchas, so I hope my review helps you. Would I buy again? - Yes. This matcha is great for someone who likes quality matcha without spending too much money. I would drink this as my daily matcha. - I can taste the difference between this matcha and a more expensive one, but I’d say this (price point aside) is about 90% in quality, taste, and experience if the expensive ones are 100%. Price: $12.59 after tax for 30g (bought on sale) Packaging: - Tin foil seal with pull tab, matcha loose in container, no bag inside of container - Comes with a rubber piece to keep matcha sealed after opening, very nice - Comes with a small metal spoon? - Top and bottom pieces separate from main container but don’t seem to have a function (see picture) Matcha: - In comparison to other high end matchas, this seems ever so slightly more coarse ground but doesn’t seem to have an effect on experience (no grainy feel) - the flavor has slightly less “matcha flavor” but for the price point, it exceeds my expectations, may just have to increase the ratio of matcha - Color: vibrant green, not dull oxidized color like some low end matchas - Mouth feel: Nice buttery and smooth - Caffeine: I am unfortunately not sensitive to caffeine so I can’t speak on the topic How I make my matcha lattes (so you can check my credentials or learn how to make as a beginner getting into matcha): 1. Heat water to 175°F/80°C, soak bamboo whisk for 5 minutes before using to soften the bristles 2. Two scoops of matcha (≈2g) with bamboo scoop (not provided with this product) into matcha bowl through a sieve (if you have one) 3. Slowly pour water into bowl, about 2oz/60ml 4. Use the whisk to gently swirl the matcha so that there is no dry powder left 5. Whisk vigorously in a “W” shape for 20 seconds (careful not to press the whisk into the bottom of bowl, it’s fragile) 6. Bring the whisk to the surface of the matcha and gently whisk in a “W” shape until the bubbles are broken up into smaller ones, aka “microfoam”, about 10 seconds 7. Finish up by swirling the matcha with the whisk in a gentle circle shape, leaving a small peak of foam in the middle as you pull the whisk from the surface. 8. (Optional) Combine with ice, milk (I use half and half, about 8oz), and sweetener to make a latte (add the sweetener after it’s in the glass so that you don’t expose sugar to the whisk) 9. Rinse matcha whisk and bowl with hot water, place whisk carefully back on holder, making sure not to snag any bristles For beginners: - Don’t use boiling water, it will burn the matcha and cause the flavor to suffer - BE SO GENTLE WITH THE WHISK PLEASE, and make sure you soak it before hand or it will be more prone to breakage - Get a whisk holder. The whisk will be prone to mold if stored upside down (bristles up) - When soaking the whisk, there should be a faint line about 1 cm down from the string binding, that’s where the water line should be. Don’t submerge the binding area or it will be more brittle and prone to mold. - A sieve is a worthwhile investment for a smooth matcha experience - All matchas naturally oxidize, so use within 1-3 months for a good experience, it’s not a feature of bad quality matcha, it’s just how all matcha is - Color matters. If it’s dull, that means it is old or bad quality, bright vibrant green is what you’re looking for - It’s normal for matcha to “settle” on the bottom of the glass after sitting for a while, just give it a swirl to remix it I wish you all luck on your matcha journey! If you’re a beginner, there’s a lot to learn, but it’s so worth it!

Amazing tasting ceremonial grade Matcha! Coming from a Matcha latte enthusiast!!!
Flavor Name: Ceremony Matcha-1.06oz, Flavor Name: Ceremony Matcha-1.06oz
This is one of the most amazing tasting Matcha powders I have ever purchased! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Matcha lattes! It was very fresh and had a great taste. The price was reasonable for the amount. It’s cheaper than two large Matcha latte at any café. The color was also a nice very deep green color. The canister it comes in was very sturdy and did not break in travel. Overall, I highly recommend this ceremonial grade matcha!!!

Great Matcha Powder!
Flavor Name: Ceremony Matcha-1.06oz, Flavor Name: Ceremony Matcha-1.06oz
I usually buy higher-end brands, so for this price I didn’t have very high expectations. I initially purchased it because the packaging is beautiful and well designed—it seals the matcha powder very well. However, after making my first matcha, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price. The quality exceeded my expectations, and I would say it’s just as good as some higher-priced options on here, if not even better.
