I have struggled through many "end times" books, and this seems to be one of the easiest to understand. The author does a good job of starting at the beginning with a description of the major scenarios and their differences, and then goes on to explain a bit about hermeneutics before trying to explain or defend his view. One reviewer stated she found it very difficult; I wonder if that is because the amillennial view is basically unknown to many Christians these days. If all you've ever known is the popular "secret rapture" view - if all you've read are the Left Behind books - you will really have to try to start with a clean slate and not project what you already "know" onto this view or you'll be confused. That said, once you get it, it certainly is simpler and makes more sense Biblically than any of the other end time views. I should mention that this view, far from being something on the fringe, was held to by such persons as Luther and Calvin themselves. SnooRay
