Il colore è un intenso e brillante giallo dorato dall’ottima limpidezza. Profumi intensi al naso, incentrati su frutta tropicale e mediterranea in cui spiccano mango, mela cotogna e maracuja. Speziato e minerale il finale. Il sorso colpisce per il corpo pieno di forza, dal grande equilibrio e freschezza. Aromi fruttati e speziati dalla viva presenza. Ottima persistenza aromatica.

“Am Sand” è un’opera d’arte tra i Gewurztraminer o traminer aromatici. Alois Lageder trae le uve da diversi vigneti della Bassa Atesina, a Termeno, Magrè e presso il lago di Caldaro, accomunate dal terreno sabbioso con alta quantità di calcare.. Le uve vengono vendemmiate in maniera tale da ottimizzarne il momento di maturazione nell’ottica di ottenere massima profondità aromatica e freschezza, talvolta anche vendemmiando uve con muffa nobile. Affina in parte in acciaio ed in parte in botti di legno per 9 mesi. Un vino che si presta sia ad essere bevuto nei primi anni, privilegiandone l’esuberanza aromatica o dopo invecchiamento per chi ricerca ulteriore complessità. Comunque un successo ogni volta che lo sia beve.

Abbinamenti dai sapori e profumi importanti per questo vino per cui pesce o crostacei alla griglia, paté o formaggi. Da provare con la cucina asiatica, thai in particolare.

Although this has nothing to do with the product, it arrived a day later than previously stated. Making me have to create a makeshift room divider the day it was actually needed. When the product arrived it arrived in a box that showed no evidence of damage. Once opened, divider was found inside a plastic cover. Great protector for dust or scratching. The divider was fully assembled so there was nothing for me to do but remove it from packaging and use it where needed. After further inspection the divider was not only cheap and flimsy looking it was absolutely unstable. It would wobble and appears to have been assembled in a rush making some panels crooked. I noted significant damage to the bottom portion of some of the panels both front and back. It does not feel like an item worth the price. The color is as advertised and the product had no smell. The sizing was accurate.
