Eine Espressotasse aus Steinzeug der Nomi-Serie, von Hand mit glänzend schwarzen Pinselstrichen bemalt, hergestellt in Deutschland.

Die Form ist kompakt mit geraden Wänden und standfestem Boden, Ø 5,5 cm und H 4,5 cm, Fassungsvermögen 75 ml — gemacht für einen einzelnen, konzentrierten Espresso. Nomi heißt auf Japanisch „trinken“; die Serie trägt diesen schlichten, alltäglichen Charakter.

Jede Tasse wird auf der Scheibe aus grauem Steinzeugton gedreht und bei 1220 °C gebrannt. Bei dieser Temperatur sintert der Scherben und wird lebensmittelecht, ohne weitere Versiegelung. Innen liegt eine transparente Glanzglasur; außen werden freie schwarze Pinselstriche direkt auf den unglasierten Ton gemalt. Weil jede Tasse von Hand bemalt wird, variieren Rhythmus und Dichte der Striche von Stück zu Stück — keine zwei Tassen sind gleich.

Für das Espresso-Ritual oder als Teil eines gedeckten Tee-und-Kaffee-Settings zusammen mit dem Rest der Nomi-Serie.

The tip of the shoe juts out and as you walk the tip rolls forward on to the ground surface and is wearing away at the leather. I mean, I've only wore these 3 times and I am getting major concerns about their durability. I would choose another shoe if I could go back, as these are an indoor shoe only as they're currently designed.
