Pygmy Dwarf Freshwater Puffer Fish Carinotetraodon Travancoricus 1cmOverview: Meet the Pygmy Dwarf Freshwater Puffer Fish—tiny yet full of personality! These pint-sized puffers, scientifically known as Carinotetraodon travancoricus, boast vibrant colors and captivating behaviors, making them a delightful addition to any aquarium.
Origin: Originating from the freshwater streams and rivers of South India, these puffers thrive in densely vegetated waters. Their natural habitats consist of slow-moving waters with plenty of hiding spots among plants and driftwood.
Feeding: These voracious eaters enjoy a varied diet. They'll gladly munch on live or frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and snails. Their beaks continuously grow, so providing hard-shelled foods helps keep them healthy.
Tank Mates: Due to their small size and shy nature, it's best to house them with peaceful tank mates of similar size. Snails, small shrimp, or other non-aggressive fish can be suitable companions. However, avoid housing them with fin-nipping species to prevent stress.
Aggression: Though small, these puffers have a big attitude! They may display territorial behavior, especially during breeding or if they feel threatened. Providing ample hiding spots and space can help mitigate aggression.
Experience Level: Ideal for intermediate aquarists, these puffers require attention to detail in maintaining water quality and providing a balanced diet. Their small size demands precision in feeding and tank maintenance.
Water Parameters: Maintain water conditions with temperatures between 74-82°F (23-28°C), pH levels ranging from 7.0 to 7.6, and moderate water hardness (5-15 dGH). A well-filtered tank with regular water changes ensures their health and vitality.

Love these toys. They are so fun to throw and play with for a small dog. Just the right size. Good for indoors and out.

Cute toys
Color: Purple & Yellow & Green
Cute and great squeaky toy but if you have a rough chewer on your hands, then they are easily destructible.

Fun but easy to destroy
Color: Green & Yellow & Blue
We foster puppies and go through a ton of toys. These soft, latex toys are great for non-super chewers, whether puppies or small to medium dogs. Our 20-week-old foster puppy has had a great time with hers, which still squeaks. She is fairly gentle and enjoys squeaking her toys, but is not destructive. If you have super chewers, these will not last for even a minute. One of our dogs got a hold of one toy after a few days and demolished it in literally 6 seconds. The price is quite high for toys if in this style, as you get three of them for $16, and typically you can get similar toys for a much lower price, but they do have a great squeak and the long necks have really pleased the puppy. I think that for the right dog, these would be great, and I would recommend them, but avoid them if your dog likes to destroy their toys because they are terribly easy to rip apart.
