In the French tradition of decoupage, this bent-glass tray is handcrafted in our New York studio. The artwork is applied in reverse beneath crystal-clear glass, sealed with fine varnishes, and burnished until the hive seems to glow from within. Each piece is individually signed by Ben. Both practical and charming, Ben’s signature glass decoupage is food-safe and wipes clean; the back side is felted to rest softly on marble or wood. It’s also suitable for hanging with a plate hanger or standing on a gallery easel, and every tray arrives with a folded card explaining the time-honored decoupage process.
