With its 88mm gun capable of destroying any Allied tank at ranges exceeding 2,000 metres, the Nashorn gave German Panzerjger units an unprecedented long range anti armour capability when it appeared in 1943.

The Tamiya 1/35 Nashorn (35335) reproduces one of Germany's most effective long-range tank destroyers of the Second World War — the Nashorn (Rhinoceros), armed with the formidable 88mm PaK 43/1 L/71 gun on the Geschützwagen III/IV hybrid chassis.
