After we checked into our hotel, we decided to take a walk to find a place for dinner. We ended up at the famous Duke's Waikiki. Our table was right on the edge of the patio on the beach. It was around 5pm and the sun was beginning to set. We still had our leis on from our airport arrival and I just stared at my beautiful lei made of Hawaiian hibiscus

The colors that flew off the sky that day are forever etched in my memory. I have been obsessed with Hawaiian sunsets and hibiscus flowers ever since.
