It's cardioid polar pattern allows you to record any source with incredible results. The microphone has a very short signal path and when coupled with the state of the art electronics, it's easy to see why the sE7 is one of the cleanest and quietest microphones in its class. It also has a transformerless design which ensures amazing sound quality. It records and reproduces instruments with superb depth.

Huge functionality

The microphone comes with a switchable pre-attenuation pad. This switchable pad means you can add -20dB which prevents the overloading of your preamp or mixer. Helping you achieve an extended dynamic range. The low-cut filter is integrated to provide 80Hz of filtering which helps eliminate low-frequency rumble and is also great at restraining proximity effect with close microphone techniques.
