The Roland U-220 is a 1U rackmount RS-PCM sound module released in 1989. It offers 30-voice polyphony and is 6-part multitimbral plus a rhythm part, making it suitable for complex MIDI arrangements. The U-220 features 128 preset tones, 64 user patches, and 128 timbres, with built-in effects including reverb, delay, chorus, and flanger. It includes two ROM card slots compatible with SN-U110 and SN-MV30-S1 series cards, allowing for sound expansion (no expansions included). Connectivity options comprise MIDI In/Out/Thru and six audio outputs (main stereo L/R and two sets of stereo direct outs). The U-220 remains valued for its classic Roland sounds and straightforward operation.

Condition:

• This is a used unit.

• This unit is in good condition. It shows some signs of wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. Most notable wear would be the rack rash. Nothing major. Please see photos. 

• This unit has been tested and is fully functional.

• This unit has had a new memory battery installed. 

• Please be aware this unit is 100V.
