Say & Snap is a great way to build automatic recall of high frequency words without the pressure of worksheets, long lists or flash cards.  The complete Module 3 Kit contains 2 packs of cards, each featuring 10 high frequency words (4 sets of each).

Split the pack between players and take turns placing a card and saying the word. If two cards in a row match, the child must say 'snap' and then repeat the word. The aim is fast, automatic recall.

Keep a pack of these durable playing cards on hand for spontaneous practice anywhere and everywhere! Get parents, grandparents, neighbours and friends involved - remember the aim is reading fluency and the more practice the better!

'Sight words' versus 'high frequency words'

High frequency words appear frequently in text. They are often referred to as 'sight words', however ANY word we can read by sight it technically a sight word.

While the focus at school is often on memorising 'sight words', many can be decoded using standard letter-sound links and spelling rules (e.g. am, an, on, in, had etc). No guessing or memorising required!

Say & Snap packs link directly to the Read3 program to support decoding of high frequency words whenever possible. Through a combination of Say & Snap and U-Know Words, your child will systematically build their bank of sight words.

Visual cue for 'tricky' words

Cards featuring eyes are 'tricky' words – they contain irregular sounds, or do not match sound-letter rules taught so far in the Read3 program. The eyes should prompt your child to think about how else they might say the word.

To assist your child, point out all the regular parts of the word that they CAN decode and then highlight the irregular part. For example 'said' contains and 's' and a 'd' so the only irregular part is that we spell the 'e' sound using ai.

Simple design

Our simple, uncluttered design has proven particularly useful for children who are easily distracted or have ADHD. There's no 'pretty pictures' or 'flashing lights' to sidetrack them from the end goal, which is decoding and reading words!

Adjust the game to suit each child's needs

As with all Read3 activities, instructions on how to simplify or extend play are included so you can differentiate the game based on the unique needs of the child. As automatic recall improves, you may wish to add spelling and writing into the game.

Pack contents:

Each pack includes 40 playing cards - 10 high frequency words and 4 sets of each word - plus detailed instructions.  The Complete Module 3 set contains 2 packs.

Note: Say and Snap is one of the AUTO activities in the Read3 program. A digital, print-at-home version of game cards are included in the Read3 program resources.

Skin 1004 moisturizer
Best skin care out there. It is not greasy. It makes your skin feel heavenly. There’s very little fragrance to it, and it is compatible with any skin type in my opinion. Great addition to any skin care routine!

Good, Cheap Makeup Wipes
Scent: Fragrance Free, Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1)
These wipes are a great value for the price and remove my everyday makeup—SPF, eyeliner, mascara, and lip products—without irritating my skin. They work efficiently and don’t require harsh rubbing. Compared to similar options, these are a better deal, and I plan to repurchase.

More Than Just a Wipe – A Small Miracle in a Plastic Pack
Scent: Fragrance Free, Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1)
Let me take you back to a Tuesday night, 11:43 PM. I was exhausted. I had just finished another long day juggling work, a messy kitchen, a toddler who refuses to sleep unless I sing “The Wheels on the Bus” four times, and a dog that mysteriously smells like pickles. I stumbled into the bathroom, glanced at my reflection in the mirror, and winced. Smudged eyeliner. Patchy foundation. That faint trace of mascara that somehow survived an entire day, a meltdown, and an unexpected rainstorm. I had zero energy left. The thought of going through my full skincare routine felt like climbing a mountain. But then I remembered the Amazon Basics Makeup Remover Wipes sitting under my sink. I pulled one out and noticed right away how soft and thick the wipe was—not papery or overly soaked like others I’ve used. It felt gentle. Almost comforting. I held it against my face for a few seconds and, without rubbing, it just… did its job. Mascara? Gone. Eyeliner? Gently wiped away. Foundation, oil, and even the invisible layer of "today was too much"? All off, effortlessly. What surprised me even more was how hydrated and fresh my face felt afterward. No tightness, no weird film, no dry patches. Just clean, calm skin. And the best part? Absolutely no scent. As someone with sensitive skin and a nose that notices everything, I deeply appreciate the fragrance-free formula. It’s rare to find a product that truly feels like it respects your skin instead of overpowering it. Since that night, these wipes have earned a permanent spot in my routine. Not just for makeup removal either. I’ve used them on groggy mornings when I don’t want to splash cold water on my face, after a sweaty walk, or to fix smudged eyeliner when I’m in a rush. They’ve even come with me on road trips and tucked inside my hospital bag when I gave birth. Each resealable pack keeps the wipes moist and fresh, and the fact that they're plant-based with FSC-certified fibers? That made me feel even better about my nightly ritual. And six packs? That’s months of clean, makeup-free evenings without ever needing to reorder. Sometimes it’s the small things that save the day. For me, it was a simple, fragrance-free wipe that helped me feel human again after the chaos. And I’ll keep buying them because they never let me down.
