Madison Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides 'Madison') is a cold-tolerant form of the popular climbing or spreading star jasmine. Deep green leaves highlight the clusters of incredibly fragrant creamy white flowers similar to orange blossoms. Compared to Confederate Jasmine, Madison Star’s cold hardiness, aroma, blooming period, and foliage are all slightly superior. Fast-growing Madison Star Jasmine is ideal for climbing along fences and trellises but will also make an excellent groundcover. This evergreen perennial has year-round interest but in the colder northern climates, container plantings can be brought indoors. The white, fragrant flowers bloom in the spring and sporadically through the summer and fall until the first frost. Great quality - this is a medium weight coat. Perfect as a car coat but too thin for cold winter days if you had to be outside for long periods of time. The fit is just perfect. Purchased a size large for a man 5’6 175 lbs with a small belly so peacoat double breasted look - looks great! Lining is standard and the grey color is very appealing. This is soft feeling coat made to look like wool without the heavy rougher wool feel. Only issue is that the coat comes packaged in a small bag and so when you open it the coat it totally wrinkled. You can knock out the wrinkles in the dryer with a wrinkle release dryer sheet or use a garment steamer but honestly the dryer trick is the key.
