The Vertical OCC (Organic Cotton Coil) from Kangertech features Japanese organic cotton in a huge base. Its nominal resistance is 0.5 ohms (subohm) for devices running between 15 and 30 watts, or 1.2 ohms for devices running from 12-25 watts. These coils produce a ridiculous amount of vapor and are currently designed for use ONLY in the Kanger Subtank. We sell these conveniently in five packs so you'll be set for several weeks after purchasing.
The Kanger Coil Color System is a key element to finding the correct coils for your exact vaping needs. Below is a comprehensive list of the different types of coils available from Kanger Tech and what the colors mean:
- Blue: Ni200 (Nickel) - These coils are only available in 0.15 Ohm and are ONLY to be used with temperature control mods, NOT for use in wattage controlled mods
- Red: NiCr (Nickel and Chrome) - These coils are available in 0.5, 1.2, and 1.5 and are ONLY to be used with wattage control mods, NOT for use in temperature controlled mods
- Black: Clapton Coil - These coils are available in 0.5 Ohms and are to be used with wattage controlled mods only, NOT for use with temperature controlled mods
- Pink: SUS316 (Stainless Steel) - These coils are only available in 0.5 and can be used with both temperature and wattage controlled mods
Note: It is very important that on a new coil, you place drops of e-liquid directly on the side port of the coil before installing it into the tank, and then letting the coil soak in the fluid in the tank for a minute before your first use.
