The Pyrex England 37B lid is a specific replacement part designed for the 1.5 pint oval casserole dishes. Because Pyrex England had slightly different dimensions than the American Pyrex Corning Glass Works, these lids are usually specific to British made vintage pieces. It most commonly fits the 505 or 509 series oval casseroles produced in the Sunderland, England factory. You will often find this lid paired with classic British Pyrex patterns from the 1960s and 70s, such as Chelsea (Blue/Black squares), June Rose (Pink flowers), Matchmaker (Red/Black crosshatch), and Harvest (Wheat pattern)
Note: This lid will not fit the standard American Pyrex 043 (1.5 qt) or 045 (2.5 qt) oval dishes properly. British Pyrex sizes were often metric or based on Imperial pints, making them just a fraction off from their US cousins. The inside lip measures approximately 7.25 inches. There are some scratches on this lid.
