Design notes
Includes:  

Surface Care for removing dirt and stains. 
Pre-Ageing Oil to bring depth of colour to your IsoGuard® finish. 
Touch-Up IsoGuard® Oil to prevent damage while preserving the wood’s natural character. 

To clean: 

Use Surface Care for a deeper clean. You won’t need it often, but if your piece gets regular use, it’s worth doing every few weeks. 
Spray directly onto the surface and wipe gently with a microfibre cloth. 
Avoid leaving any wet areas; the wood should feel just slightly damp.  
Allow it to dry for 15 minutes. 

Care
• Linseed oil is a natural product and is not subject to spontaneous combustion. However, cloths and other tools, should be soaked in water before disposal.
• Store for up to 36 months in dry conditions.
• This product must not be diluted under any circumstances.
• IsoGuard® meets the EN 71-3 toy standard and is Food Contact Compliant.
• IsoGuard® is developed using environmentally friendly ingredients. However, some people may be allergic to certain elements, so we recommend wearing gloves to protect your skin on application.

To touch up small marks and scratches:  

Repairing any scratches and scuffs on your Darkened Oak design is easy to do, there are just a few steps to follow: 
Start by giving the surface a good clean with your Surface Care. Make sure it’s completely dry before moving on to the next step. 
In a well-ventilated space, use a soft cloth, brush or sponge to apply a small amount of the Touch-Up Oil. Rather than focusing just on the scratch, apply it across the whole piece – this helps everything blend in beautifully. Leave it to settle for up to five minutes, then gently wipe away any excess. 
It’ll take around six to eight hours to dry fully. Over the following week, try to clean your piece with a dry cloth only. After that, you can return to using the IsoGuard® care kit, which is available to order online or in store. 

To refinish larger areas:  

Clean surface with Surface Care and allow to dry. 
Sand lightly with 120 grit sand paper. 
Apply Pre-Ageing Oil with a sponge or brush and wait 24 hours. 
Apply a further coat of Pre-Ageing Oil with a sponge or brush and wait 24 hours. 
Apply Touch-Up Oil evenly with a sponge or brush. 
Leave to dry for 24 hours.
