About: A series of original oil paintings by artist Gil Mutch. Gil maintains a quality and consistency across a body of work, painting in an identifiable and distinctive style and a variety of subject matter (landscapes, still life studies and portraits). Her starting point for a picture is always an experience - vivid, but sometimes quite fleeting. Repeated layers and textures are built up in Gil's intriguing work, frequently returning to a painting, over a very long period of time, before the piece is complete.
"When we stand in front in front of the resulting picture we are immediately caught up in it's world, sharing her excitement in making the huge brush-marks with their luscious colour to create a dynamic journey across the canvas. We also sense the evolution of the picture, with layers of paint from many previous states clearly visible". Graham Miles. The John Russell Gallery

Worked great for the 4 months it lasted
Color: Green/Battery
I liked this can opener a lot when I first got it. It was easy to use, and it left smooth edges after opening the can. I also liked the fact the batteries were replaceable. However, after 4 months it stopped opening the cans. It just went around and around the edges. I tried replacing the batteries but it did not help. I plan to replace it with a different brand.
