They have not faded at all and are still soft and supple. They show no cracking or crazing, which is unusual considering these are over 80 years old. The fittings are embellished with an oak leaf pattern. They are made of zinc. They retain approx. 40% of their original silver finish in the

The fittings are embellished with an oak leaf pattern. They are made of zinc. They retain approx. 40% of their original silver finish in the lowest details only. The details are still strong. The upper clip is pebbled and retains approx. 50% of its silver finish. It is marked on the reverse with RZM M5/10 “D.R.G.M.” This is the RZM code for maker Wilhelm Deus in Solingen. The lower snap clips are also marked “D.R.G.M.” This set is in near excellent condition.
