Reimagined Legendary 11mm Dynamic Driver Unit:-

Moondrop’s patented 11mm dynamic driver is known for its marvelous performance, as evident from the success of the previous flagship Moondrop Illumination series. Professional engineers have redesigned this flagship-grade driver with a new upgraded diaphragm and magnetic circuit architecture. The pair now adopts the TAC Diamond-Coated Dome Composite diaphragm for unmatched clarity. This new diaphragm is supported with a new magnetic architecture featuring ultra-high-efficiency magnetic conductive materials and a scientifically designed large-volume magnetic circuit. High-quality copper alloy material independent support structure increases the stroke and minimize the disturbances in the magnetic circuit. The driver also gets an independent cavity structure made up of high-quality copper alloy material. Moondrop has designed the TAC Diamond-coated Dome Composite Diaphragm based on the LCP dome technology. It has a high-rigidity artificial diamond layer applied through a deposition process, this layer enhances the rigidity of the dome. It exhibits improved internal damping, resulting in enhanced treble performance. For optimal bass dynamics, a flexible, high-damping polyurethane material suspension is used.

The pair produces a clean and crisp low-end, a clean and accurate high-frequency response, and a neutral midrange response. Moondrop has tuned the pair using the measurements from the highly-precise and accurate B&K 4128C machine.
