The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration
The K&N 69-1008TB Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-1008TB air intake comes with a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive blue powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory air temperature sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, pliers, ratchet set and an Allen wrench. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. These are awesome and I couldn't play ball with my Dobermans without it!

I LOVE Chuckit ball launchers. We've been using for a around 17 years and we've only had to replace one. We have 2 active, energetic Dobermans and I throw like a girl and there is now way I can throw a ball very far. With the Chuckit, I can throw more than 80 feet! My dogs need a lot of exercise and using this ball thrower allows me to make that happen. Bonus is I dont have to pick up a snobbery ball :)

Not a long shot

This item is much smaller than I thought it would be .
The ball is full sized . But the thrower is very small.
Works okay. But does not throw the ball very far . It’s okay for me . My dogs are small. My yard is too .
But , this is not going to throw balls really far . Like the long ones do

I would buy this twice!

This Chuckit! Dog Ball Launcher 12M Sport is the perfect product for the dog park! It makes games of fetch so much easier and more fun — the long handle gives great reach, so I can launch balls super far without even bending over, and our dog goes absolutely wild chasing them.

Caution can cause addiction

My dog has become addicted to tennis balls because of this! She sees the blue handle and she immediately loses her mind! I love it because I don't have to bend down as far to pick up the ball, which is amazing after 2 back surgeries.
