The grave find from Skjoldehamn raised many questions since its recovery in 1936 and still occupies today. According to current research, the dating of the pagan grave in the marshland is the first half of the 11th century. The hood of the gugel from Skjoldehamn has a simple square basic shape and a very wide brim which does not fall round but with a corner on the chest. This gugel is also a very early example of the type of headgear that became a ubiquitous garment in Europe during the Middle Ages.
In the course of research, attempts were made to assign the garment to a gender and cultural group. For this purpose, not only the DNA of the buried person was examined more closely but also the additional finds. The enclosed trousers determined the theory of the researchers that the person must have been male. DNA examination in 1999 showed no Y chromosome present in the bones which supported the theory that it had to be a woman instead. However, this methodology is considered outdated.
The question of culture points to Norway. This is assumed by ornamentation and morphological features which suggest that the buried person was a Sami tribal member. Further research is needed, as some key evidence for these hypotheses is still lacking. More modern DNA analysis and research into the history of the fashions of the various Sami groups will shed light on this.

Excema problem, you need to try this
Scent: Unscented
Best cream I ever used for my eczema. Using this twice a day makes a HUGE difference. It's lightweight, and better value than most beef tallow creams. Scent is ok. This stuff really softens my skin!!! You need a use for around a month to see best results.p

Wow! So moisturizing!
OMGosh, this feels so good on your lips! I just got this today so I’ll have to update if the moisture doesn’t last. But so far it feels nice.
I did have a slight issue with it melting onto itself in the one day it took to get to me. See photos. The tube itself was slightly concave because of the melting. But is still intact.
So far though I love this stuff!

Pretty good stuff
Not a miracle cream, but I've certainly paid more for worse lip balm. The tallow is helping keep my lips hydrated, and it feels great when applied. Just got Invisalign, and I struggle with hydration normally, but this is helping keep the lips soft and smooth, and is miles ahead of the cheap drugstore brands that dry more than they help.

Worth a try, I guess.
Picked up this beef tallow lip balm for my husband. We had the worst winter and everything was so dry. He is used to using the waxy sticks you buy at the big box stores to treat his dry lips. He has been using tallow and I noticed this lip balm and thought he might like it.
The stick is quite big. Thicker than the normal waxy stick you might buy at the store. In line with some of the larger sticks I have seen in the stores by some of the men's lines that are out there. He used it often and found it to work well. Did it work better than some of the waxy sticks from the store, he didn't think so but it was on par with those. He does like that it is natural. He told me that he would apply it and his lips would feel good and it would last for a while and just like any other product he would try, his lips would be dry again after a while.
I would say that generally, it sounds like an average product but it's natural. Worth a try, I guess!
