The Ensoniq EPS-16 Plus Rack is a 16-bit rackmount digital sampler released by Ensoniq in 1990 as the rack version of the EPS-16 Plus keyboard. It offers 16-bit linear sampling with variable sample rates, 8-voice polyphony, and Ensoniq’s well-regarded digital effects processor, which is integral to its sound and signal path. The EPS-16 Plus Rack supports internal effects on samples, extensive sample editing, keyboard and velocity mapping. This unit also features the SCSI expansion for external storage, alongside a brand new Gotek USB emulator. Known for its warm, characterful converters and powerful effects, it became popular in professional studios and is still valued for its distinctive early-1990s digital sampling sound and deep, hands-on architecture.

• Physically this unit is overall in good condition. It show some small general marks, nicks and scratches. There is nothing which detracts from the use or sound of the unit. Please see all photos for further details.
  
  
• This unit has been serviced. It is fully functional and ready to use. All faulty components were replaced.
  
  
• This EPS16 Plus has the SCSI expansion installed.
  
  
• This unit has 2mB of RAM installed.
  
  
• This EPS has had a brand new Gotek with OS 1.3 installed on the included SanDisk USB stick. There are 50 blank disks ready for you to add sampled to.
  
  
• Please be aware, this unit is 100V. This means you MUST connect it to the correct step-down transformer before powering it on.
