This late Victorian token of love is truly something special. ✨ Circa 1875, this sly serpent comes offering a gift of ivy, with shimmering diamond leaves. Beautifully rendered in 18k rose gold, the head is crowned with a vibrant green emerald and cabochon ruby eyes, artfully framed in diamond lined scales. In this piece, Victorian era symbolism is beautifully conveyed. The coiled snake is symbolic of everlasting love and the ivy represents wedded love and fidelity. Emeralds signify hope, new growth and eternal life while diamonds, consistency.

Notes: There has been a restoration to the bangle located in the section where the snakes tail crosses its body.
