Wouldn't you like to have your cake and eat it too? Fortunately, there are upgrades to substantially increase the strength and life expectancy of the most failed components of an IFS, the tie rods. These units from BD Power are 1.5x thicker than OEM for reduced flex and have larger inner ball joints for reduced wear. Testing has shown the BD tie rods can take over double the amount of force than what OEM rods can handle. Greaseable ball joints come with sintered bearings which allow for better load holding and increased life. Especially if you've installed larger tires on your truck, occasionally take it offroad or in the snow, or anything besides driving it down a smooth highway, these upgraded tie rods are what you need.

I purchased two of these shelves. Both were received but one was a busted up return from another customer that didn’t get taken out of circulation. Parts were missing and damaged. Returned that for a replacement. It came in perfect. These are easy to put together, minus the pesky stickers that took a lot of patience, Goo Gone, and scraping to get off. I love the 2-tone of the black metal and brown wooden shelves and extra nice touch the middle shelf folds down.
