Starting off with the shell, the Alpha One Helmet is constructed of a completely one-piece shell! This high-density plastic shell provides a stiff, durable, and lightweight barrier of advanced protection. The geometry of the shell itself is designed to provide best-in-class direct-impact diffusion! In short, this means better protection against impacts such as deflected pucks or errant sticks.
Hockey heads are important and where the Alpha One Helmet truly stands out is in the protection department! This is thanks to Warriors OmniShock+ system consisting of Viconic Inserts and Impax foams. High-impact zones like the frontal lobe, temples, and occipital consist of the lightweight Viconic Inserts. These inserts protect players against multiple different type of impacts, dispersing the force of the impact throughout the helmet itself, and away from the players head. Paired with the Viconic Inserts are the EPP and Impax foams. These foams provide protection against catastrophic injury, as well as specific small and large impacts!
Not only does the Alpha One Helmet feature best-in-class protection, it also features superior comfort as well! The AdaptFit 360 Technology by BOA helps maximize comfort, further enhancing the protection aspect. The AdaptFit 360 provides a comfortable and balanced fit thanks to the BOA dial on the back of the helmet. This dial allows players to tighten or loosen the overall fit of the helmet, depending on their preference, providing a snug and comfortable fit for extended periods of time!
Continuing along the comfort aspect, the Alpha One Helmet features a flow comfort Polygiene Liner and venting! The removeable liner pads, treated with Polygiene, absorb sweat and dry quickly, keeping players cool, dry, and odor-free! The strategically placed helmet venting has been designed to keep players from overheating.

This is the new formula, with a blue cap

This cream has been a great basic moisturizer for use with acne creams (.25% tretinoin, in my case). You may notice some reviewers saying it's fake because of the blue cap and the fact that it just says "soothing," but that's the new packaging. You can see that on the Avene website.
This doesn't have the "luxe" feel of some other brands, but this did the job by keeping my skin moisturized and acne free. When I am in the mood to buy something else, I usually buy something else, but this is the best budget option - definitely better than any of the drugstore brands.

Obsessed. Soothing, effective, fragrance-free, incredibly healing
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
I’ve been loving this so much I bought a second bottle after a few days of using it. It has all the skin soothing benefits of the tolerance lotion cleanser, but it’s also a really great cleanser. It’s almost not noticeable how good it is at cleansing because your skin doesn’t feel stripped after, but it takes things off really quickly. I was worried because it doesn’t foam a lot and it feels so nurturing — much like the tolerance lotion cleanser (which I use as a second cleanse when my skin needs a few days to recover from something like a derm office treatment) — but when I wash again with my favorite HG cleanser nothing extra comes off, and I tested it twice on waterproof eyeliner that I’d swiped on my forearm for an hour or so, the eyeliner dissolved and wiped off with two or three gentle swipes. It has a very emollient texture, so when you rub it against your skin it slips so easily you don’t realize it’s dissolving and taking things away because there is no friction. So it’s great at taking off makeup, it’s AMAZING at cleaning makeup brushes, and IT DOES NOT BURN MY EYES AT ALL. Also, it is FRAGRANCE-FREE… before I bought it I read a review complaining about smelling a citrus fragrance, that person either has some sort of brain tumor or something spilled on their bottle when it was in a warehouse because this is definitely a fragrance-free product.
Prior to trying this, I had tried another cleanser that gave me weird acne hives all over my chest (never happened to me before) and I was struggling to heal the acne and the irritation. I noticed an immediate difference when I started using the tolerance cleanser on it; the fresh redness went away, the acne started healing, and the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation has been healing fast. So I’ve been using this on my body as well and it’s soothing and moisturizing in all the places where other things have been drying. I have mild rosacea and I hadn’t realized how irritated my skin was from the last thing I’d tried until after 5 days or so of using this my skin tone looked much more even and the stubborn PIH I have from a two-zit hormonal breakout a month ago finally looked dramatically lighter (as recently as the week before, I’d needed to cover them with high-coverage concealer).
Because this doesn’t foam much, some people might not realize how well it’s cleaning… I encourage you to judge it based on how your skin looks and feels. Since it is very emollient though, I do think it’s important to use it with a face wash scrubber or washcloth just to ensure you’re getting some mild mechanical exfoliation and clearing away skin cells that could be trapping stuff in your pores. For this reason, I do wash my face with this twice so the first wash can get off makeup/debris/oil and then the second wash can really penetrate and clean my skin.

No Scent and Gentle
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
I broke out in a case of Perioral Dermatitis recently and bought this product to help before I could see my doctor. Avene Tolerance facial cleanser has no scent and is very gentle on my skin. It didn’t burn when washing with this product, and even helped to slough off the dead skin around my lips. My face feels clean, not dry. I am still going to see my doc to get an RX for the inflammation, but I do believe this product helped to alleviate the dryness and tightness of my skin and lips. I’ve used other Avene products and I’m very happy with them. Even though these products are more expensive, to me they are well worth the money because they are much more gentle on the skin than any other products I’ve used. I will buy this product again just because of the fact that it’s so gentle. PS: at the time of purchase for this product, I also bought Avene’s Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Cream (you don’t need to use a lot of this one on your entire face), and Avene’s Cicalfate for lips. Between these 3 products, my lips and skin feel a lot better (however, I will still see my doctor because I have Crohn’s Disease and Perioral Dermatitis is considered an extra-intestinal side effect of Crohn’s).
